Acquired in 1988, THE GRAND BARN has become the utmost vacationed destination for those sharing the scope of worldwide friendship and open-mindedness. Now commencing our 21st year of operation and that is thanks to the accrued support of our T.W.A.N./TGB Members and loyal visitors throughout the past 21 years. We have been/are publicized in many publications and guides, from all over the globe and many have responded to the call for great common sense that is so predominant at TGB.

What we are about

The Grand barn, throughout the last twenty one years has welcomed thousands of individuals from all walks of life. But the one notable constant in the array of international convergence has been the common desire to be at one with nature and at ease with nudity. The Grand Barn has never since day one considered its facility to be soley a nudist venue, club or colony. Since its opening in 1988 The concept of being "At ease with Nudity" has always superseded the exclusionary constraints of the fundamentalist nudist mindset. This principle of entreating individuals to define their own social and moral responsibility within the construct of a communal environment has caused a forced alienation of the Grand Barn, with many of the other nude venues and associations. The positive aspects of this exclusivity has yielded many long standing and supportive members, who year after year have supported the freedom that 'The Grand Barn' stands for. Moving forward, we will continue to offer as an alternative, our philosophy of empowering personal freedom to all individuals whose preference is to stand up for responsible and respectful social gatherings, and not feel obligated to yield to inane ideology just for the sake of nude recreation.
